Phew. I sure know how to frustrate Henry now. I just let him play with one of Angie's light 8 lb aerobic weights. He could see that it was quite easy for me to move around, so he became intensely angry that he couldn't move it himself. He, after much huffing and squealing, could move it a bit up and down or up onto it's end. But he was clearly not happy at his inability to move it. I'm not sure if he was learning a good or a bad lesson from the ordeal.
The day before yesterday he saw his second fireworks display down on the wharf in San Francisco. He also got to play with Natalie and Rob's son and their various neices and nephews. Henry was the youngest of the bunch and was a favorite of the slightly older kids to play with.
This was the first fireworks he could actually watch. The first he was tiny, and slept for the most part if I recall correctly. We saw those over in Berkeley with Rasmus, Christine and Carl last year. He seemed to enjoy them this time, but was more interested in darting through the crowd and attempting to get lost than anything.
